Dimensional Modelling experience a plus

The developer will manage the design and development of management reports on company intranet. This position will also guarantee the performance integrity and quality of reports, ensure report performance and resolve problems, maintain database dictionaries and report guides, and coordinates with other IT departments to ensure implementation and monitoring of reports.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Analyzes, designs and develops board room quality Cognos models, reports, and dashboards.

Tests and troubleshoots issues as they arise.

Works closely with data modelers to build and support the IBM Cognos metadata models.

Develops and implements interactive dashboards to help drive business decisions.

Understands business requirements and translates them into high quality Cognos report deliverables.

Monitors and responds to different tickets/defects.

Expert in SQL including performance tuning.

Troubleshoots/resolves help desk tickets in accordance with all SLA established timeframes.

Manages/handles deployments into UAT and production environments.
