BARISTA

Primer Coffee and Spirits is looking for a skilled and passionate barista to join our team at Canvas @ Valor Acres. The barista will be responsible for crafting and serving high-quality coffee and beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a welcoming and comfortable coffee shop environment.

This is a part time hourly position, that does not include benefits.

A typical day looks like:

  • Preparing and serving coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages to customers
  • Greeting customers and taking orders with a friendly and approachable demeanor
  • Operating espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment with precision and care
  • Maintaining a clean and organized coffee bar area, including restocking supplies
  • Educating customers about coffee varieties, brewing methods, and specialty drinks
  • Handling all transactions and processing payments accurately
  • Assisting in maintaining a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for customers
  • Upholding hygiene and sanitation standards for all equipment and work areas
  • Learning and adapting to new coffee blends and menu offerings
  • Responding to customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role
