Be the expert behind every perfect pour

Farmer Brothers’ Revive Service & Restoration team keeps coffee and tea programs running at their best. As a Commercial Coffee Systems Field Technician, you’ll spend your days solving problems, delighting customers, and ensuring their beverage equipment performs flawlessly.

A day in the life
  • Start your route within a ~100-mile radius, responding to scheduled preventive maintenance, surveys, and installations—plus the occasional urgent call.
  • Install, repair, remove, and commission commercial coffee and beverage dispensing systems with precision and care.
  • Keep your service vehicle stocked—track spare parts, manage inventory, and reorder within replenishment guidelines.
  • Close every call completely: document the work performed, capture accurate time, finalize invoices, and secure customer signatures.
  • Coordinate with teammates to plan, schedule, and execute equipment rollouts and complex installs.
  • Communicate clearly with customers and internal partners, share feedback from the field, and uphold service level agreements for every program.
  • Prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to changing needs while maintaining exceptional customer service.
Schedule & travel
  • Core hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
  • On-call rotation required for after-hours and weekend coverage.
  • Primary coverage within a 100-mile radius; occasional regional travel as needed.
What you’ll bring
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years of hands-on mechanical and technical experience.
  • Foodservice background preferred.
  • Exposure to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and use of test/tech meters preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record; comfortable traveling 100+ miles from the branch as needed.
  • Strong troubleshooting ability—diagnose issues, read electrical schematics, and perform safe electrical installation, wiring, and repairs.
  • Physically able to lift up to 60 lbs frequently.
  • Proven ability to balance scheduled and unscheduled service, including emergencies and preventive maintenance.

To account for cost-of-living differences, we apply location-based salary adjustments. Employees working in higher-cost cities may receive a geographical pay premium, which is determined based on market data and local economic factors.
