$750 Hiring Bonus for new Team Members plus $50 in gas gift cards during our onboarding process.

Responsible for reviewing and promptly filling guests orders for the shift, handling food in a safe manner and ensuring the work area is always clean and neat. Provides courteous, friendly, and efficient guest service to guests and team members.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Prepares and sells coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks, such as: espresso, cafe latte, cappuccino, and various coffee drinks
  • Greets all guests with fast, friendly, personalized service and develops a rapport with guests by learning their names, favorite drinks and food items
  • Educates guests by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu; answering questions
  • Maintains inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply; stocking coffee brewing equipment; maintaining supplies, pastries, cookies, etc. for the coffee bar
  • Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs
  • Maintains a clean and stocked workstation in accordance with established health and safety guidelines
  • Operates a cash register/POS System, ringing the proper amount into the register and giving the guest the correct change
  • Accounts for all cash, charge, and complimentary sales according to established procedure
  • Maintains integrity of all financial controls and responsibilities
  • Must project professionalism, and a consistently friendly demeanor
  • Appears in publicity photos
  • Promotes casino events and programs
  • Provides personalized service and uses guest name
  • Resolve service problems according to guidelines
  • Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner and encourages others to do the same

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
Required
  • Must be 17 years of age
  • Must be able to read, write legibly, understand and speak English
  • Basic mathematic proficiency
  • Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
  • Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by Prairie Band Casino & Resort Team Member Handbook
  • A record of satisfactory performance and reliability in all prior and current employment

Preferred
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior cash handling and cash register experience
  • Knowledge of coffee bar ingredients and experience in proper preparation techniques

PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
  • Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodation

  • Must be able to reach above and below the shoulder, grip small items (i.e., pens, money, garnishes), bend, and stoop while preparing beverages
