Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant Resident
Academic Year 2025-2026
Codman Square Health Center serves as a resource for improving the physical, mental, and social well-being of the community. Codman is known for excellent care as well as excellent teaching. Building on this foundation, Codman launched an Advanced Practice Clinician Residency in 2020. The residency earned Accredited status in 2024, demonstrating the high quality of the program. With a 100% graduation rate - our graduates complete the program as primary care providers with robust practices. Our graduates are confident and have the skills to thrive in community health!
The NP and PA Residency is how Codman hires and trains near new graduates to ensure their success. The program is twelve months of post graduate training - focused on patient care under the guidance of an experienced precepting team. Additional benefits of the program include gradually increasing productivity requirements, didactics, feedback, mentorship, and a leadership team invested in your success! The program is followed by an additional twelve months of commitment, where graduates solidify their skills in a supportive environment. NP / PA residents are full time, salaried, and benefited Codman employees. There is an opportunity to be hired for a permanent staff NP / PA after completion of the program.
