Job description

Overview:
You are applying for a position through Medix, a staffing agency. The actual posting represents a position at one of our clients.
Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Part Time or Full Time Physician Coder E/M to join their team. The primary responsibility is to work with PB ques and ensure accurate Physician E/M coding.
Key Responsibilities
  • Work with PB ques to ensure accurate processing.

Schedule/shift:
  • Full time coders : Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. There is a flex start time between 6:00am-8:00am once you are up and running and approved
  • Part time coders : Make your own schedule between Sunday-Saturday 6am-11:00pm EST. Part time coders have to log on for a minimum 2 hours per shift before logging off. There is a minimum of 20 hours per week they must meet.

Full-Time Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of Physician E/M coding experience
  • Epic EMR Experience
  • CPC, CCS, CCS-P, CCA, CMC active credential

Part-Time Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of Physician E/M coding experience
  • Epic EMR Experience
  • Able to work a minimum of 20 Hours per week or more
  • Must own your own equipment (Windows based laptop/desk top, No Chromebooks or Mac Books)
  • Must have access to your own coding software
  • CPC, CCS, CCS-P, CCA, CMC active credential
  • Able to join one 8 hour Epic training course ( This will land on a Tuesday and is required, you will have plenty of notice)

Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in coding.
