Lewis Cass Schools requires:
  • Completed online application
  • Minimun of a high school diploma
  • An expanded criminal background cheeck & DCS check per Indiana Code
  • An Indiana Substitute License (unless you hold a current teacher's license)

Interviews will be held on a monthly basis with recommendations to hire presented at the monthy board meeting. Once approved the applicant will be contacted to complete all required documentation for employment. If applicant does not hold a current background check or a current Substitute License/Teacher License you will be required to submit applications for those after board approval.
Lewis Cass pays $90.00 per day for a Substitute License and $105.00 per day for any applicant holding a Bachelors degree.
