The Accounting internship will take place between approximately the end of May through the end of August. The Accounting interns will work onsite at our Manufacturing facility on Mitchell Road in Eden Prairie and will work shifts primarily Monday-Friday. During the internship the accounting intern will be schedule 40 hours a week.

This role earns a wage of 18.00/hr.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Overview

As part of the Devex PLM to Plex ERP transition. We are looking to hire an intern that would support the document extraction from our PLM as well as support our Plex implementation team with day-to-day accounting activities.


Scope Summary

This effort includes extracting attachment files from the legacy PLM system and organizing them into a structured SharePoint environment as well as detailing any incomplete documentation. The end state will enable document searchability by material code. The Plex implementation support would consist of supporting the accounting team with day-to-day accounts payable and production and sales reporting. This role would also support any Plex implementation resources.


Key Activities

  • Build standardized SharePoint folder structure by material type and code
  • Extract and review PLM attachments by material code
  • Retain only relevant, value-added documentation, training to be provided
  • Migrate and organize files into SharePoint using consistent naming conventions
  • Weekly accounts payable
  • Weekly production and sales reporting
  • Plex documentation resource support
  • Assist team members with special project to organize QA documents in SharePoint
  • Assist with day to day recording of production and sales
  • Assist with Day to day accounts payable processes
