Your Role:

As a Burn Boot Camp Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering dynamic and challenging workouts in a group setting to members of all fitness levels as well as leading a small team of trainers to do the same. In this role, you must have a strong desire to help members reach their health and fitness goals through pushing them outside of their comfort zone and building confidence through showing them what they’re capable of. Your leadership and knowledge will inspire and empower members as they transform their bodies. At Burn we focus on what members can gain, rather than what they can lose.

Requirements:

  • Certified Personal Training certification OR 4-year Exercise Science degree
  • We will consider any applicants who are actively working towards their CPT
  • CPR/AED certified
  • Reliable transportation

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Excellent verbal, communication, and intrapersonal skills
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, personable and friendly disposition
  • Passion for health and wellness
  • Team player that relishes a feedback culture
  • Have a high level of understanding and presence in social media
  • Comfortable with sales and suggestive selling on nutrition products

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Must train a minimum of two shifts per week
  • Deliver a dynamic and challenging workout in a group setting to members of all fitness levels
  • Push members outside of their comfort zone and build confidence
  • Host heartfelt, 1:1 meetings with members to help them accomplish their goals
  • Maintain accurate and efficient notes of member meetings and injuries encountered on the floor
  • Keep accurate timing on workouts and communicate it to members
  • Demonstrate each exercise from the warm up to the cooldown along with a modification
  • Take ownership of equipment maintenance and cleanliness
  • Participate in rotating Saturday training schedule
  • Assist in facility cleanliness after camps conclude
  • Practice what you preach!

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to able to lift a 75lb dumbbell onto a member’s shoulders
  • Long periods of time walking, husting on feet during camps
  • Ability to demonstrate fundamental exercises with excellent form
  • Must take camps regularly to familiarize self with camp demands and stay up to date on exercises

Available Shifts:

Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday early mornings: 4:30 am - 7:00 am

Monday and Wednesday evenings: 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Required Rotating Saturday shifts: 6:30 am - 10:30 am (about once a month)
