Yulista Services LLC Regular Job Summary Yulista's Mission Support & Training (MS&T) business line is seeking a Director of Engineering Programs to provide leadership and oversight of engineering programs supporting the Department of War (DoW), NASA, and other federal customers. Based at the corporate headquarters in Huntsville, Alabama, this position is responsible for the successful execution, financial performance, strategic growth, and operational integration of current and future engineering programs. The Director reports to the Senior Vice President of MS&T and partners closely with executive leadership, engineering, business development, finance, contracts, and customers to drive operational excellence, business growth, and exceptional customer satisfaction. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Provide active leadership and oversight of Yulista's engineering program portfolio.
* Maintain full program management responsibility, including revenue, profitability, forecasting, budgeting, and overall financial performance.
* Partner with the Chief Engineer and organic engineering team to ensure successful execution of program cost, schedule, technical, quality, and customer objectives.
* Lead program execution across multiple contracts, ensuring effective risk management, resource allocation, and operational performance.
* Collaborate with Business Development and Capture teams to support strategic growth initiatives, proposal development, pricing, contract transitions, and customer pursuits.
* Build and maintain strong executive-level customer relationships while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Work with the organic engineering managers to align workforce planning, staffing, technical capabilities, and resource management with program requirements.
* Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, regulatory standards, quality systems, and corporate policies.
* Develop and implement standardized program management processes while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
* Mentor engineering team and support the development of future technical leadership.
* Support strategic planning efforts and the continued growth and expansion of the organization's engineering capabilities.
* Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
* Minimum of 15 years of progressively responsible experience managing complex engineering, aerospace, aviation, or DoW programs.
* Minimum of 7 years of leadership experience managing multiple programs, portfolios, or technical organizations.
* Demonstrated success managing program budgets, forecasting, financial reporting, contract performance, and overall program execution.
* Experience managing government contracts, customer relationships, subcontractors, and cross-functional teams.
* Experience supporting business development, capture efforts, proposal development, and program transitions.
* Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.
* Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance. Preferred Qualifications * Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or DAWIA Level III Program Management certification.
* Experience supporting engineering programs for NASA, the U.S. Army, the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), or other federal agencies.
* Active Top Secret Security Clearance.
