What are Coding Compliance Managers?

Coding Compliance Managers are professionals responsible for overseeing the accuracy and integrity of medical coding within healthcare organizations. They ensure that coding practices comply with federal regulations, payer guidelines, and internal policies. Working remotely, they audit medical records, provide training to coding staff, and implement corrective actions to prevent compliance issues.
