Position Overview

SunSoftOnlineis seeking a high-performingSenior .NET Applications Developerto join our team on a long-term contract engagement in Phoenix, AZ supporting state agency systems.

This role operates on ahybrid scheduleand requires a senior engineer who combines deep expertise inC#, .NET, and cloud serviceswith modernAI-assisted engineering skills. You will design, build, and maintain enterprise software while integrating cutting-edge Generative AI features (AWS Bedrock, Anthropic Claude) into application workflows using tools like GitHub Copilot.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generative AI Feature Engineering:Programmatically build and integrate enterprise application features utilizingAWS BedrockandAnthropic Claude.
  • AI-Assisted Coding:Leverage modern developer tooling (GitHub Copilot, VS Code AI extensions) to accelerate software delivery and code quality.
  • DevOps & ALM:Manage code repositories, automated builds, and deployment pipelines withinAzure DevOps / TFS.
  • Database & Architecture:Design clean backend services, optimize data access layers, and enforce modern architectural patterns.
  • Collaborative Delivery:Partner with system architects, project managers, and business analysts to translate complex business logic into high-performing software.
Qualifications & Requirements Required Qualifications:
  • Programming Experience:Minimum of8+ yearsof professional software engineering experience, with at least 3+ years dedicated strictly to enterprise application development.
  • AI & LLM Integration (1โ€“2 Years):Direct professional experience integrating AI models programmatically (AWS Bedrock,Anthropic Claude) and using AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, VS Code AI extensions).
  • DevOps:Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and/or Team Foundation Server (TFS).
  • Productivity Tools:Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Drive).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degreein Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
