Job Title: Java backend Developer with Agentic AI skills

Location: Dallas, TX/Austin, TX/SFO, CA/Phoenix, AZ (Onsite)

Role Overview:

Value Technology is seeking seasoned J2EE backend Developers with strong experience. We are looking for candidates who are good at software engineering, specifically at distributed system design. Have good understanding of how to approach scalability, availability, and performance.ย  The candidate should possess AI first mindset. Should be able to utilize agents, coding assistants. The candidate will work on modernizing existing applications with distributed back-ends while leveraging modern AI tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop enterprise-grade, scalable applications.
  • Develop applications using J2EE design patterns and agentic technologies
  • Design, develop, and consume REST APIs and Microservices.
  • Develop unit and integration test cases using JUnit
  • Work with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and use tools such as Jira and Git.
  • Work with distributed systems and messaging platform Kafka.
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes.
