At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We're working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight!
This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.
We are a team of collaborators, doers, and problem-solvers who are relentlessly committed to a culture of safety. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration! Join us in lowering the cost of access to space and enabling Blue Origin's vision of millions of people living and working in space to benefit Earth.
As part of a small and passionate team of Business Intelligence professionals, you will be responsible for building and maintaining data models, deploying machine learning models, developing automations and visualizing data for the Global Supply Chain organization. This role will directly support the ramp of New Glenn rate manufacturing - building the data infrastructure and analytical products that enable the organization to scale production efficiently and with confidence.
We support all functions within the Supply Chain Management organization including Planning, Procurement, Fulfillment, Transportation, Production Control, Commodity Management, Program Management and more. Our customers range from the CEO to individual contributors across the organization. This role will propel the reliable operation of the company and strengthen the value of analytics and data science in the Global Supply Chain Organization.
What makes our data team successful?

  • Passionate about data quality and trust
  • Deep experience with crafting scalable methods for optimally calculating and storing enterprise-wide KPIs
  • Ingesting data and interacting with basic web APIs
  • Data storytelling and visualization knowledge with a proven record of driving adoption through crafting products and dashboards people want to use
  • Leverage AI-assisted development workflows to accelerate delivery while maintaining high standards for code quality and accuracy
Responsibilities
  • Craft and develop scalable reporting, dashboards and data solutions using SQL, Tableau, and other tools
  • Build custom data visualizations and interactive analytical applications using web frameworks (e.g., Streamlit, Flask, Dash, or similar) to deliver experiences beyond what standard BI tools provide
  • Develop automation solutions to integrate disparate systems and automate otherwise manual workload
  • Create analytical data models that support standardized metrics tied to production rate ramp and supply chain performance
  • Collaborate with supply chain leaders, production control, and program management to identify and build metrics that enable leaders to lead their teams
  • Build strategic reporting solutions for leadership to support Weekly Business Reviews (WBR) and Monthly Business Reviews (MBR)
  • Work with partners and domain specialists to generate reporting, application, and integration requirements
  • Use AI coding assistants to accelerate development, and critically review and refine all outputs before shipping to production
  • Provide business analysis and technical expertise to internal and external partners
  • Maintain day-to-day workflow and communication with a variety of partners across the company
Qualifications
  • Passion for our mission: Millions of people living and working in space!
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience
  • Strong SQL skills in an analytics context - including creating, altering, and managing data tables - to build sophisticated datasets and models enabling data access to less data-savvy users across the entire enterprise
  • Experience using Python to structure data frames (Pandas, etc.), develop automations, build machine learning models (XGBoost) and create data visualizations (Seaborn, Matplotlib)
  • Experience building data-driven web applications or custom interactive visualizations beyond standard no-code BI tools
  • Comfortable using AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar) as part of your daily development workflow to write, iterate on, and review code
  • Familiarity using version control to check in production code in a shared repository
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Experience communicating information to executive partners
  • Ability to earn trust and maintain positive and professional relationships
