As aSeniorSoftware Engineer on this team, you will lead one or more teamscomprisedprimarily, if not exclusively, of coding agents to design and developGenAIfeatures and agents for both our market products and internal processes. WhatYou'llDeliver

  • Act as the governing lead for one or more teams of virtual developers using Cognition AI's Devin (or similar toolsets).

  • Collaborate withLiteradevelopment teams to design innovative GenAI-based products and features using tools like Cline,Replit, and Cursor.

  • Research, evaluate, and documentnew technologies, dev agents, and similar tools as they appear on themarket.

  • Socialize recent technologies throughout the Engineering department.

  • Function as an evangelist for leveraging GenAI to responsiblybenefitthe company and our clients.

  • Write clean, maintainable code that is extensible withminimumnumber of defects.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Engineering and Product Management to complete tasks.

  • Manage individual task priorities, estimates, deadlines, and deliverables.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of software and security best practices (i.e., object-oriented design patterns, OWASP Top 10, SOLID design principles).

  • Produce documentation and evaluation ofnew technologiesand their potential value forLitera.

  • Communicate with other groups in the organization to evaluate the possibility of leveraging GenAI to address current process challenges and inefficiencies.

  • Collaborate with other team members to design and develop robust features and products using GenAI and other modern technologies.

  • Translate product and feature ideas into technical designs and development tasks.

  • Conduct sessions and webinars to disseminate knowledge throughout the Engineering department.

  • Define new opportunities for leveraging GenAI to improveLiteraproducts and organizational processes.

WhatYou'llBring

Must Haves:

  • 5+ years of software development experience with strong competence in backend development

  • 5+ years of experience with .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET Core, Web/REST APIs

  • 5 years of experience with React/ Vue / Angular / Svelte, Typescript

  • 4+ years of experience with SQL Azure (preferred) or SQL Server

  • Unit testing frameworks (i.e., Unknit,MSTest)

  • AI development experience including competence withLarge Language Models (Azure OpenAI, Anthropic), Prompt Engineering, Embeddings/vectorization/semantic similarity, RAG

  • Experience with GitHub/ Azure DevOps / Bit and Microsoft Visual Studio Code (preferred) or Microsoft Visual Studio

  • Strong visioning, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Comfortable speaking todifferent levelsin the organization - from peers to directors to the CTO - the role has high visibility and plays a part in the strategic growth of the team

Pay Transparency for Colorado Applicants

The base salary range for this role is $160,000 to $185,000 USD. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, education, and other relevant qualifications. This role is also eligible to participate in a company bonus plan. In addition to base salary, Litera offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) with company match, and incentive and recognition programs. Benefits are subject to eligibility requirements.
