Job Description:
As a licensed Residential Electrician, you’ll play a vital role in performing electrical installations, and maintenance. You’ll have the opportunity to help train and develop the next generation of electricians by sharing your expertise. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Layout of electrical per plans and local codes
  • Ensure all electric is installed per plan and code
  • Ask questions to determine severity of electrical problem
  • Choose an array of tools and materials according to the repair work that needs to be done
  • Confer with customers to determine their electrical repair needs
  • Read and interpret blueprints and cabinet details to insure correct location of electrical
  • Follow architectural drawings to determine installation of wiring systems
  • Replace faulty wires and parts and ensure that the new ones are in proper working order
  • Inspect electrical systems and components to determine condition and identify needed repairs
  • Install a variety of electrical system components such as lighting, switches, circuits, panels and outlets 
  • Identify hazards or defects in electrical systems by performing periodic inspections
  • Plan layout of electrical wiring and equipment keeping in mind local building codes and project specifications
  • Direct the work of apprentices to ensure that work orders are handled properly

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Valid Texas Electrical license 
  • 2 plus years’ experience in Residential electrical construction
  • Clean driving history
  • Possess and maintain required tools 
  • Willing to undergo a pre-employment criminal, driving and drug screen
  • High school diploma or equivalent
