Superintendent - Plumbing
Position Overview
As Superintendent - Plumbing, you'll oversee plumbing system installations and rough-ins on commercial projects, leading crews to deliver code-compliant, reliable fixtures, piping, and drainage systems that support efficient building operations. Coordinate with trades, manage site logistics, and ensure quality/safety throughout. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervise installation of plumbing systems, fixtures, piping, drains, and medical gas (if applicable) per plans and codes.
  • Manage crew assignments, material deliveries, and daily progress to meet schedule milestones.
  • Enforce safety standards, perform job hazard analyses, and lead toolbox talks.
  • Coordinate with other trades (HVAC, electrical) for sequencing and conflict avoidance.
  • Conduct inspections, testing (pressure/hydrostatic), and punch list resolution.
  • Troubleshoot issues, ensure compliance with plumbing codes, and document work.
  • Mentor plumbers and apprentices on techniques, safety, and best practices.

Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Yes - Supervise plumbing crews and subcontractors; oversee daily performance, training, and safety adherence.

Requirements/Qualifications
  • Experience: 7+ years in commercial plumbing installation, including 3+ years supervisory experience.
