Title: Senior Programmer Analyst (Job Code - JPC 497)

Duration: Full Time

Location: 14801 Murdock Street, Suite 120-A, Chantilly, VA 20151

Job Requirements:

Analysis, design, develop, code, test and support web and cloud-based software applications using software technologies such as Java, J2EE, RESTful services, Amazon Web Services (S3, DynamoDB, SQS), Kubernetes, Microsoft Azure, Jira, and related tools. Worl on and implement all steps of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for application development. Analyze and understand architecture frameworks, principles and standards. Convert business requirements into logical solution designs. Work with Agile (Scrum) project methodology and practices. Perform solution, application, or information architecture. Create Use Cases, Component Diagrams, Class Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, and Workflow Diagrams.

Code and implement various software components and modules to implement software design. Implement Application Programing Interfaces (APIs) and Microservices using Java. Design and code Graphical User Interface (GUI).

Prepare unit test cases and execute unit testing. Implement Web Services. Review code and enhance/tune and maintain developed software. Work with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools such as Jira. Provide application support, troubleshooting and root cause analysis on the production issues.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field and 5 years of experience as Software Developer or Software Engineer or IT/Programmer Analyst or any job title involving software development. Will accept a Master's degree and 3 years of experience in lieu of bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience.

Experience must include software development using Java, J2EE, RESTful services, Amazon Web Services (S3, DynamoDB, SQS) and Kubernetes.

Travel/relocation to various unanticipated client locations throughout the US may be required.
