How you’ll make an impact in this role
  • Assess patient needs to develop and implement precise respiratory care plans based on specific diagnoses.
  • Expertly manage and monitor high-level respiratory equipment and treatments, adjusting protocols based on patient outcomes.
  • Act as a core member of the emergency resuscitation team, providing life-saving intervention during critical codes.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • One or more of the following required:
    • Respiratory Care Practitioner obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for
    • Respiratory Care (NBRC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Respiratory Therapist credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Respiratory Care obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted preferred.
  • Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
