Job Title: Plumbing Project Manager - West Allis, WI

Job Summary: We are seeking a Plumbing Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, budgeting and execution of construction projects. This role is central to the conceptual development, scheduling, and successful delivery of projects, ensuring they meet client expectations, safety standards, and budget requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate project activities with Superintendents, Foremen, Journeymen, and Department Managers.
  • Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards in line with company and contract requirements. 
  • Represent the company in project and strategy meetings.
  • Manage procurement of supplies, materials, and equipment.
  • Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to staff, workers and clients.
  • Prepare and present reports on progress, costs and scheduling.
  • Collaborate with engineers to produce shop drawings.
  • Maintain clear communication with customers and contractors throught the project.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specifications.
  • Partner with Superintendents and Safety personnel to develop and enforce project-specific safety plans.
  • Develop and monitor project schedules, identify variances, and implement corrective actions. 
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts and cost-tracking reports.
  • Manage subcontractor RFPs, proposals, agreements and schedules.
  • Negotiate and approve subcontract scope changes in compliance with contract requirements.
  • Oversee divisional Work in Progress (WIP) statistics and present at monthly financial meetings. Perform accurate estimates and take-offs.
  • Ensure necessary bonds, permits, and cerifications are obtained.
  • Contribute to bid packages, including safety, quality and execution plans.
  • Support department meetings and additional assignments with a collaborative attitude. 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of project management or related experience.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Knowledge of relevant codes and standards governing design and operations.
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and adapt to changing demands. 
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
