Shift: Shift 2/3:00:00 PM to 8:00:00 PM
Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $20.00 - $23.50 / hour
Summary
The Clinical Laboratory Assistant I is responsible for a variety of clinical and clerical functions to support the day-to-day operations of the Clinical Laboratory depending on the shift and facility location. Clinical duties include specimen verification and processing, phlebotomy, sample tracking including the cancellation and crediting of laboratory tests, and processing of send out testing. Clerical duties include phone reception, printing and distributing reports, operation of office equipment such as fax machines, copy machines, and printers, in addition to basic computer skills in the Laboratory information system.
