Louie's is seeking a professional and service-oriented Cocktail Server to join our team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional guest service by demonstrating knowledge of our cocktail menu, offering thoughtful recommendations, and contributing to a high-quality, engaging guest experience in a vibrant lounge environment.


Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide a professional and welcoming guest experience, including presenting and explaining the cocktail and beverage menu 
  • Accurately take orders and offer recommendations based on guest preferences 
  • Prepare and serve beverages in accordance with established recipes, quality, and presentation standards 
  • Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner while coordinating with team members to ensure efficient service 
  • Respond to guest needs and resolve concerns promptly and professionally 
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, including bar and service stations 
  • Process payments accurately using the point-of-sale system 
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff 
  • Follow all applicable health, safety, and sanitation procedures

  • Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, champagne, and beverage service standards (Required)

Education and Experience

Previous experience as a Cocktail Server or in a similar role in a high-volume beverage or nightclub (Preferred) 


Professional Standards & Appearance

  • Maintain a polished, professional appearance consistent with an upscale, guest-facing nightclub environment 
  • Adhere to the venue's dress code, which may include designated uniforms, cocktail attire, or specified wardrobe guidelines 
  • Maintain personal grooming and hygiene consistent with hospitality service standards 
  • Hair should be neat, clean, and styled in a manner that does not interfere with job duties or guest service 
  • Tattoos should be covered where required by operational standards, subject to applicable accommodations 
  • Facial piercings should be minimal in visibility and consistent with workplace appearance guidelines 


Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Must be at least 21 years of age 
  • Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification or within 60 days from hire 


Schedule

Must have availability to work Wednesday to Sunday, nights, weekends and/or holidays 


Physical Demands

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts 
  • Ability to move throughout a fast-paced, high-volume indoor environment, including crowded or confined spaces 
  • Ability to transport, balance, and carry trays, glassware, and other service items as part of job duties 
  • Ability to bend, reach, and maneuver in service areas including tables, bar, and service stations up to 25 lbs. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively in environments with varying noise levels 
  • Ability to use hands and arms to handle, serve, and present food and beverage items 
  • Ability to perform job duties requiring coordination, timing, and efficiency during peak service periods 
  • Ability to follow safe work practices consistent with hospitality and food service operations
