Summary

ABARTA Coca-Cola’s Rewards Specialist supports the administration, communication, and ongoing improvement of the organization’s benefits and total reward programs. This role focuses on benefits operations, compensation, vendor coordination, and clear, effective communications to ensure employees understand and fully utilize their benefits. The Total Rewards Specialist partners closely with HRBP’s, CCBSS, payroll, vendors, and external administrators to deliver a positive employee benefits experience.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities Include:

  • Create, develop, and distribute internal communications in HR initiatives to enhance employee understanding and engagement.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee benefit inquiries, resolving issues and escalating complex matters as appropriate.
  • Help to lead annual open enrollment activities, including system configuration, testing, employee support, and coordination with vendors and payroll.
  • Manage the company’s wellness program and create policy documents and communication for program changes.
  • Assist with monitoring regulatory requirements (e.g., ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA) and support compliance activities and reporting.
  • Partner with CCBSS to manage benefit deductions, file feeds, and leave billing processes.
  • Support job evaluations and job description reviews to ensure accurate job leveling and alignment with compensation guidelines.
  • Assist with maintaining salary structures, job grades, and pay ranges to support internal equity and market competitiveness.
  • Participate in cross‑functional projects and additional initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field (education requirements may be satisfied by relevant professional experience)

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years working in benefits, preferably with a self-insured medical plan. Compensation experience is preferred but not required.
  • Skills: Attention to detail and ability to work with confidential data, ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines, excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills and experience with HRIS or compensation systems a plus.
