Job Description Summary:
Role Overview
The role of Senior Manager, Ariba Solution Architect is responsible for both technical and functional support for the SAP Ariba platform. This will include maintenance of Ariba Network Integration technology and connection to Customer/Supplier systems. The Senior Manager, Ariba Solution Architect will manage requirements for the existing platform related to Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration, with Forecasting, Quality, and Inventory modules, as also Ariba Sourcing & Contracts. The job responsibilities include but not limited to - aligning with stakeholders on deployment of Ariba functionality, support Ariba deployment projects including B2B integrations, identify and own new Ariba functionality, provide global support as Ariba SME, manage Ariba upgrades. The role requires a deep knowledge of SAP Ariba functionality, including CIG, cXML and EDI technologies, and ideally candidates understand how Ariba interacts with SAP IBP and S/4HANA.
What You'll Do for Us
  • Techno-Functional Development and Support lead for the SAP Ariba Platform
  • Should possess extensive knowledge on the Ariba SCC processes like PO Collaboration, SMI, Sub-Contracting, Forecasting and Quality modules, and Ariba Sourcing & Contract Management
  • Be the functional and technical owner for any new functionalities on Ariba Platform
  • Maintenance of Ariba Network Integration technology and connection to Customer/Supplier systems
  • Monitoring of the technical messages exchanged between Customer/Supplier systems and the Ariba Network and investigation of any message failures
  • Submit and track technical issues until resolution
  • Responsible for CIG mapping and any related customizing on the Ariba Platform
  • Be the main contact to SAP Ariba Customer Support
  • Act as subject matter expert on behalf of organizational peers in functional area
  • Act as advocate within functional areas to support adoption of the SAP Ariba Cloud Service
  • Make design decisions and responsible for system configuration documentation
  • Responsible for managing any Ariba system notifications and Addon upgrades in S/4 Hana
  • Work closely on implementing enhancements to the standard Ariba interfaces as per Project needs

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Technical, Business or related field.
  • 5+ Years of experience on Ariba Products - Ariba SCC, Ariba Sourcing & Contracts and Ariba Spend Analytics.
  • 5+ Years of working on SAP ERP systems on Sourcing, Procurement, Planning and Accounts payable areas.
  • Exposure to working with JIRA Tool, in Scrum/Agile Project environment
  • Certification in Ariba preferred
  • Sound knowledge on Ariba Integration including CIG, cXML & EDI technologies
  • Demonstrate the ability to work in a complex global matrix organization, to lead cross-functional teams, having excellent understanding of relevant business requirements and dynamics as well as establishing networks with key stakeholders.
  • Excellent Communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong problem solving, technical and analytical skills.
  • Proactively identify data, analysis, trending and reporting requirements.
