Job description

Job Summary:
InterSources Inc. is a Small, Woman, and Minority-Owned Business Enterprise with over 18 years of experience in IT Consulting Services. They are seeking a Senior Cobol Developer to define data requirements, write application specifications, and perform unit testing for a COTS vendor solution.
Responsibilities:
• Based on a set of business requirements the Software Architect Expert will be required to define data requirements and write application specifications and design for data transformation.
• Programs will be written in Cobol based on the requirements for a COTS vendor solution.
• Unit testing is required as well as writing test plans for the implementation of remediations for data quality issues.
• When testing is completed, the Software Architect Expert will be required to migrate the programs to the production environment and perform post production validation of the implementation.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 84 months experience of COBOL/JCL with version z/OS 4.2.0/v3.2
• 84 months experience of VSAM file structures
• 84 months experience of DB2/SQL
• 84 months experience of Endevor
• 60 months experience of Data Analysis & Design, Data Quality issues/Remediation
• 84 months experience of CA-interest
• 72 months experience of Lead programmer experience
