Job Title: Mainframe Developer (COBOL / CICS)
Location: Omaha, Nebraska (onsite)
Job Type: Contract
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer with CICS expertise to design, develop, maintain, and support mission-critical applications running on IBM z/OS environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in COBOL, CICS, JCL, and DB2, and will work closely with business analysts, architects, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in Mainframe development
  • Strong hands-on experience with COBOL and CICS
  • Experience with JCL, VSAM, and DB2
  • Knowledge of IBM z/OS operating system
  • Familiarity with batch and online processing concepts
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with version control and change management tools
  • Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
