Job description

Responsive recruiter
Job Title: CobbleStone CLM Consultant / Contract Management System Specialist (Hybrid - Portland, OR)
Location: Hybrid - Portland/Milwaukie/Tigard, OR metro area (mix of remote and on-site)
Employment Type: Contract / Project-based
About the Role
We are seeking a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) consultant with hands-on CobbleStone experience to support a configuration and enablement project for a client in the Portland, Oregon area. This is a hybrid engagement combining remote work with periodic on-site visits. The client already owns CobbleStone and needs an expert to configure key features, structure permissions, and coach their team on using the platform effectively.
This is not a build-from-scratch project. You will be enabling and optimizing an existing system for a defense-sector manufacturer, so familiarity with government contracting concepts is a strong plus.
What You'll Do
  • Configure CobbleStone CLM from the admin side: workflows, status tracking, and milestone visibility
  • Set up contract status dashboards and reporting for cross-stakeholder visibility
  • Build role-based permission structures (department isolation, read-only vs. edit access)
  • Enable and configure clause-level searchability and flow-down tracking
  • Support migration of existing contracts and documents into the system
  • Advise on SharePoint integration and document sync options
  • Train and guide internal users on newly enabled features

What We're Looking For
  • Hands-on experience configuring and administering CobbleStone CLM (required)
  • Understanding of contract management for government/defense contractors (FFP, cost-plus, CLIN structure)
  • Familiarity with FAR/DFARS contract concepts (helpful, not required)
  • Experience with contract data taxonomy, metadata structuring, and clause libraries
  • SharePoint integration and document management experience a plus
  • Strong communication skills; able to train and guide non-technical users
  • Local to the Portland, OR metro area or able to be on-site as needed

Keywords: CobbleStone, CLM, Contract Lifecycle Management, contract administration, CLIN, FAR, DFARS, defense contractor, government contracts, SharePoint, hybrid Portland Oregon, IT consultant, contract management software, legal tech, Portland, Milwaukie, Tigard, Beaverton, Hillsboro
This is a remote position.
Compensation: $75.00 - $125.00 per hour
