Job description

What Youโ€™ll Do:
As a Groundskeeper, youโ€™ll play a crucial role in maintaining the appearance and physical condition of our community, creating a safe, welcoming, and visually appealing environment for our residents. This full-time, non-exempt position reports directly to the Property Manager.
Where Youโ€™ll Work:
Live a life of luxury at Nine20 Tempe, offering luxury apartments near ASU and located on the METRO Light Rail. Enjoy high-end amenities built for Arizona State University Sun Devils! Our fully furnished studio, one, two, and four-bedroom apartments are complete with upscale finishes all around. Our apartments feature the best finishes with keyless entry, granite countertops, soft-close kitchen cabinets, stainless steel appliances, private lock on bedrooms, walk-in closets, memory foam mattresses, in-unit washer and dryer, plus your very own mini-fridge in each bedroom.
What Youโ€™ll Own:
  • Keep all interior and exterior areas clean, safe, and presentable at all times, including buildings, common areas, amenities, and grounds. Tasks include picking up litter, sweeping, blowing, or pressure-washing breezeways, parking lots, and other shared spaces.
  • Care for plants, shrubs, and flowers by watering and ensuring their healthy appearance.
  • Assist with swimming pool cleaning and maintenance to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Support unit turnover processes, including trashing out vacant units and collaborating with vendors to maintain quality standards.
  • Provide friendly and professional service to current, future, and past residents, including delivering and posting newsletters and correspondence.
  • Inspect the property daily to identify and address hazardous conditions or liability concerns.
  • Use property resources, equipment, and supplies efficiently and safely.
  • Assist with light maintenance duties as needed.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management.
What Youโ€™ll Bring:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic English communication skills to follow instructions and interact with residents and team members.
  • Basic computer skills for completing work orders or other property tasks.
  • Previous experience in groundskeeping, general maintenance, or housekeeping is preferred but not required.
  • Physical ability to frequently walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift/move loads up to 50 lbs, as well as climb and work from ladders.
  • Must live within 30 miles of the property and have reliable transportation to participate in on-call duties.
