Job description

Job Title: Property & Events Manager

Department: Coarsegold Village

Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CSE)

Classification: Non-Exempt

Employment Type: Full-Time w/Benefits

Salary Range: $25.00 to 30.00 an hour

Location: Onsite - Remote or hybrid work arrangements are not permitted

JOB SUMMARY

The Property Events Manager acts as the bridge between property management and resident/client engagement, responsible for planning, promoting, and executing events that enhance community life and maximize venue usage.

This role handles vendor negotiation, budgeting, logistics, and on-site coordination while ensuring safety standards, supporting property operations, and contributing to overall resident satisfaction and retention. The position requires a balance of creative event planning and detailed operational oversight.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Design, plan, and execute community events, meetings, and private functions from conception to completion
  • Coordinate logistics, timelines, and on-site execution to ensure successful event delivery
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for venue use, including scheduling, setup, and teardown coordination
  • Ensure safety compliance and proper use of facilities
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, including caterers, decorators, and AV providers
  • Coordinate vendor activities to ensure quality and cost-effective service delivery
  • Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations
  • Support financial tracking related to events and property activities
  • Promote events to residents and clients to maximize participation and engagement
  • Support outreach efforts through social media and other communication channels
  • Build resident engagement through well-organized events and activities
  • Respond to tenant inquiries, concerns, and issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Support move-ins, move-outs, and general tenant coordination
  • Coordinate routine maintenance and repairs with vendors and contractors
  • Conduct property inspections and monitor overall condition
  • Support leasing efforts, including marketing vacant units and coordinating showings
  • Ensure compliance with applicable policies, safety standards, and property regulations

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate's degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or a related field OR
  • 4-6 years of directly related experience in event planning, hospitality, or property management
  • Experience coordinating events, vendors, and logistics in a professional setting

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Business Management, or a related field
  • Experience with commercial event planning and property management
  • Experience with social media, marketing, or community outreach

In accordance with applicable Tribal law and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Picayune Rancheria of the Chukchansi Indians (PRCI) Administration provides employment preference to enrolled PRCI Tribal Members. To qualify, applicants must submit valid proof of enrollment. Tribal Members who meet the minimum qualifications will be given preference in hiring, promotion, transfer, and layoff decisions. During the interview process, PRCI Tribal Members will receive an additional 7.5 points (10% of the 75-point interview rubric). Non-PRCI Native American candidates will receive an additional 5 points (6.7% of the total points) in accordance with Indian Preference guidelines.


INDIAN PREFERENCE STATEMENT:

In compliance with 25 CFR Part 276 and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, Sections 701(b) and 703(i), employment preference shall be given to qualified applicants who are enrolled members of the Picayune Rancheria of the Chukchansi Indians, and secondarily, to another qualified American Indian/Alaska Native Candidate.
