We're looking for a Workplace Coach (Work Services Job Coach) who enjoys encouraging others, staying active, solving problems, and celebrating the everyday victories that help people become more independent.

What You'll Do

As a Workplace Coach, you'll work side-by-side with the individuals we support throughout their day.

You'll provide transportation to work and community activities, teach job skills, encourage independence, help individuals navigate challenges, and celebrate accomplishments along the way.

Some days you'll be supporting a production project at GTI. Other days you'll be coaching someone at a community job site, volunteering with a local organization, enjoying a community outing, or helping someone try something new for the very first time.

Your encouragement, patience, and belief in people will help them discover strengths they didn't know they had.

Your Responsibilities

· Coach individuals while they work at GTI and community job sites.

· Teach job skills and promote independence.

· Provide transportation using GTI vehicles.

· Support production work while maintaining quality standards.

· Encourage positive work habits, teamwork, and confidence.

· Assist with volunteer projects, community outings, and recreational activities.

· Help individuals develop friendships and meaningful community connections.

· Support individuals with personal care and medication administration when needed.

· Complete daily documentation and communicate progress with the Opportunity Builder.

· Promote safety, dignity, inclusion, and respect in every setting.

Position Details:

• Part-time: Up to 28 hours per week

• Starting pay: $16.00–$19.50/hour

• Flexible scheduling and meaningful, mission-driven work

Responsibilities:

• Promote positive social interactions
• Support individuals in the community, in their job, or at their jobs (enclaves or facility based)
• Teach skills to expand a person's independence and progress toward goals
• Maintain a clean and safe environment
• Administer medications
• Support individuals with hygiene and skill building
• Provide transportation with a company vehicle
• Document program data at each shift and coordinate with all program staff
• Provides and assists with job development or placement activities as directed.
• Any other duties assigned

• Desire to work in a team environment, even when supporting someone individually
• Ability to work independently
• Treat people with kindness, not cruel or harsh, showing compassion (gentle teaching philosophy)
• A level of integrity that motivates doing the right thing, even when no one is watching
• Ability to be flexible and handle change well
• A good track record of attendance and an understanding of the importance of consistency for the people we support

Qualifications/ Physical requirements:

• High school diploma or above and must be at least 18 years of age
• Possess a valid driver's license
• Pass a background check
• Must have a full range of motion, physical strength, and the ability to achieve and maintain training and certifications
• Basic computer usage/ knowledge
• Follow company policies and procedures
