Job description

Cold Brew Foundry has built a next-generation cold brew factory outside Philadelphia focused on single-origin, small-batch, craft cold brew at industrial scale.

True pulsation brewing. Precision water chemistry. Low-oxygen processing. Seven-stage filtration. Cold sterilization. Brewing profiles customized to the bean.

Todd Carmichael is looking for a Co-pilot in Training — someone who wants to grow into a high-level operational role inside a next-generation coffee manufacturing system.

The role begins as direct operational support, working shoulder to shoulder with Todd Carmichael, with the goal of eventually becoming capable of operating the entire production system independently.

Over time, the right person will learn:

• Brewing operations

• Extraction profiling

• Packaging systems

• Cold sterilization and sterile processing

• Water chemistry

• Quality control and sensory evaluation

• Equipment operation and troubleshooting

• Production flow and plant operations

This is hands-on work inside a real manufacturing environment. Some days are physical. Some are technical. Some are creative. Some are chaotic. All of them move fast.

The right person is probably:

• Deeply interested in coffee

• Curious about how things work

• Mechanically minded

• Detail obsessed

• Calm under pressure

• Excited by startups and building things

• Comfortable working hard

• Interested in growing quickly

You do not need to know everything already.

But you do need energy, discipline, curiosity, and pride in your work.

This position is ideal for:

• Coffee professionals

• Roasters

• Baristas looking to move beyond café work

• Production operators

• Coffee nerds

• Mechanically inclined people who love systems and process

You will be working directly alongside Todd Carmichael on some of the most advanced cold brew systems in the world.

Small batch. Single origin. Precision brewed. Cold sterilized. Built differently.

To apply, send:

• Resume or background

• A short note about yourself

• Why coffee matters to you

• Anything you’ve built, fixed, operated, roasted, brewed, or obsessed over

Role is starting at $30+ an hour, plus full healthcare coverage.

Company Description

We’re a fast-growing beverage startup based in Pennsylvania, passionate about crafting innovative cold brew. Our shop feels more like a microbrewery than a factory — hands-on, mechanical, and collaborative. We work with filtration systems, tanks, and Reverse Osmosis systems to bring high-quality drinks from concept to customer.

As a small team, everyone wears many hats: one day you might be helping set up production lines, the next you’re working on quality checks or equipment maintenance. We value people who are curious, mechanically inclined, and ready to grow with us. If you like solving problems, working with your hands, and being part of a tight-knit team building something new, you’ll fit right in here.
