Primary Job Duties

Schedule and support the Pilot training scheduling process with Instructors, Simulator companies, Federal Aviation Administration, Pilots and Flight Operations Leadership

  • Maintain knowledge and supervise all pilot training events and the corresponding scheduling processes and procedures.
  • Coordinate and schedule any specialty training as necessary.
  • Train, assist and mentor training coordinators.
  • Ensure hotel and travel arrangements are scheduled for all training events.
  • Maintain excellent communication with Instructors, Coordinators, Managers and Supervisors.
  • Completion of Monthly Bid Adjustment
  • Maintain knowledge of all Department and Company policies, PPM, PAQPM, LCAM and other documents as required.
  • Create reports as necessary in Excel and other programs.
  •  Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Manager and/or Manager.

Training Supervisors are responsible for arranging all aspects of the training phases of our pilots. This process is complex and your knowledge will build as different areas are introduced and assigned.


Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1 year minimum Crew Support Supervisor or 1 year Pilot Training experience or equivalent
  • Proficient in MS Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams
  • Proficient use of Crew Scheduling software and all partner and hotel reservation system
  • Proficiency with all pilot training software.
  • Must demonstrate detailed record keeping techniques.
  • Flexibility in schedule to work overtime as needed to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Flexible, with strong detail skills and capability of assuming responsibility.
  • Self-motivated, team player.
  • Ability to work under tight time constraints.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate verbally by telephone and in person with crewmembers, management and others.
  • Ability to adapt to change quickly and positively.
  • Ability to work with others as part of a team and work under stressful conditions.
  • People oriented, highly motivated, with a positive, supportive and cooperative attitude.
  • Excellent reliability and attendance

Physical and Other Requirements
  • Schedule: 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts. Wednesday – Saturday.
  • Participate in MOD rotation.
  • Can work with moderate noise (business office with computers, printers, light traffic, and Group setting)
  • Sitting for extended periods of time in front of a computer and on the phone.
  • Willingness to travel if required.
  • Ability to work occasional overtime or adjust schedule as company needs require.
  • This is not a Department of Transportation safety-sensitive position.
