The hourly rate for this position is $28.00 per hour.

What you'll do:
The primary function of the Application Engineer Co-op is to provide technical application support to customers, sales and other Bussmann division departments. The Application Engineer Co-op will support more technical and in-depth email inquiries. The Application Engineer Co-op will be viewed as the technical expert on Bussmann series products and their application.
Job Responsibilities
  • Provide in-depth technical application support to customers via phone, chat, and email.
  • Actively engage in the training of customers and Division personnel.
  • Develop and update training materials.
  • Act as the technical expert from the factory.
  • Provide guidance on NEC, UL, CSA, & IEC requirements for overcurrent and overvoltage protection

Qualifications:
Basic (Required) Qualifications:
• Working toward a B.S. in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8.
• Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc.
• No relocation benefit is offered for this position. The candidate must reside within 50 miles of Ellisville, MO.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Major in Electrical Engineering.
• Two years of coursework completed.
