Job Description
Spring 2027 Semester Engineering Student Co-Op opening (paid, with housing stipend)- Searching for Engineering student for our plant in Muskegon, Michigan
*A minimum of a 3-month assignment. Part-time employment (20+hrs/week) for 6-months also qualifies.
Engineering Co-Op Summary
Support Engineering team to assist in projects, planned outages and mechanical equipment opportunities.
Essential Functions
Assist in developing, documenting, and improving preventive maintenance or continuous improvement programs in order to support the improvement of equipment availability and throughput.
Provide support for equipment failures and loss of production.
Assist in analyzing production delay data for establishing and documenting or modifying preventive maintenance tasks.
Provides support for problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements and improved working relationships.
Assist with Project Engineering duties.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities
Work with engineer(s) to prepare, coordinate and maintain schedules for extended production outages and major maintenance work.
Work with maintenance craftsmen and operations to meet department goals.
