Job description

Lead CNC Programmer

Location: St. Francis, WI (Onsite)
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–3:00 PM

Compensation is based on experience, $30-45/hr
About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Lead CNC Programmer to join a growing manufacturing team specializing in precision machining and mold manufacturing. In this role, you'll be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC equipment to produce high-quality precision components while supporting continuous improvement and maintaining exceptional quality standards.

What You'll Do
  • Program, set up, and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Manufacture precision mold components while maintaining tight tolerances.
  • Load tooling and raw materials, monitor machine performance, and make adjustments as needed.
  • Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
  • Maintain production records and machining documentation.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve machining processes.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical training or CNC machining certification is a plus.
  • 5+ years of CNC programming and machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working with tight-tolerance precision components.
  • Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills.
  • Proficiency using precision measuring instruments.
  • Familiarity with G-code programming.
