TAKE A GLIMPSE INTO YOUR DAY:
As our CNC Operator, you'll set up, program, and operate CNC machines to manufacture components that meet exacting standards. Your day involves configuring machines, loading materials, modifying G-code, and making programming adjustments to maximize efficiency. You'll perform precision inspections with micrometers and calipers, troubleshoot equipment, and carry out routine maintenance. With safety and compliance always in focus, you'll keep operations running smoothly while meeting productivity requirements and producing aerospace-quality results.
REQUIREMENTS TO BECOME OUR CNC OPERATOR:
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent attendance
  • Ability to identify non-conforming parts
  • Ability to make your own tools (example: chuck jaws or fixtures), specific to your jobs
  • Ability to form cooperative relations with your supervisor
  • Ability to consistently work to tight tolerances
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Ability to meet productivity requirements
  • Ability to communicate and counsel other operators in the department
  • Ability to set up and run horizontal and/or VTL lathes, programming is a plus!
