Job Overview

We are hiring aCNC Programmer / Production Control (CNC Nesting Planner)to support production operations in a fast-pacedwelding and fabrication manufacturing environment. This position plays a critical role inproduction scheduling, CNC programming support, job planning, material utilization, and manufacturing workflow coordinationto ensure the CNC plasma table operates efficiently across both shifts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and manage daily nesting plans for the CNC plasma table
  • Prioritize jobs and production schedules using spreadsheets, email, and other planning tools
  • Import files and prepare nested jobs to support continuous machine operation
  • Ensure proper routing and utilization of available material sizes
  • Coordinate production priorities to help maintain efficiency across multiple shifts
  • Work closely with Quality Control and Purchasing departments to monitor material consumption and job completion
  • Maintain sufficient nested work orders to keep CNC equipment operating efficiently
  • Support overall production control and fabrication workflow planning
Required Qualifications
  • Proficiency withAutoCAD
