Route Types

Key Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely in various traffic and weather conditions.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections according to DOT rules.
- Secure cargo properly using straps, chains, or binders if applicable.
- Maintain electronic logging devices (ELD) to track hours of service accurately.
- Report any mechanical defects, traffic delays, or incidents to dispatch immediately.
Job Requirements
- License: Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Screening: Ability to pass a DOT drug test and background check.
- Clean Record: Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and stable work history.
Required Endorsements
- H (Hazardous Materials): For transporting dangerous or hazardous cargo.
- N (Tank Vehicle): For hauling liquids or gases in bulk.
- X (Combination): For driving tank vehicles carrying hazardous materials.
- T (Double/Triple Trailers): For pulling multiple trailers simultaneously.
