Key Responsibilities:

  • Read, understand and work with fabrication drawings each day.
  • Work with Aluminum, PVC, Acrylic, and Polycarbonate materials to create precise and accurate parts for our Fabrication, Assembly, and Channel Letter Fabrication departments.
  • Manage material inventory in a consistent, accurate and fiscally-responsible manner.
  • Ensure the necessary tools are always present to complete our projects.
  • Maintain the CNC router tables according to manufacturer maintenance guidelines and our company standards.
  • Organize, clean, drill and tap parts as required for each work project and job.

Skills:

  • Communication: Must be able to communicate clearly and timely, while working exceedingly well in our team environment.
  • Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently to complete tasks, as well as take direction exceptionally well.
  • Math Skills: Strong mathematical skills are a must. We pride ourselves on quality and accuracy; it is necessary to double-check dimensions, and to calculate required material usage to fulfill responsible material and labor cost management while minimizing waste and scrap.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: CNC operators must identify potential issues or challenges with the machines to achieve peak performance operation. We expect you to recommend ways and means to increase output and improve quality.
  • Attention to Detail: CNC operators will be working with precision equipment to produce signs according to precise specifications. Must maintain close attention to achieve our established quality standards.
