Job description

Position Summary

The CNC Mill Operator is responsible for safely, accurately, and efficiently setting up and operating department equipment, and working from complex prints and models to obtain accurate specifications in dimensions and tolerances.


MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (not all inclusive)

• Ability to work safely, accurately, and efficiently with minimal supervision

• Leadership and training ability

• Knowledge of tool steels

• Able to use all shop measuring equipment

• Ability to make offsets and adjustments to CNC Mill and Lathes

• Must be able to operate all shop equipment

• Capable of working from prints and models


Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 2 years of CNC Mill and Lathe experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Ability to operate Forklift

• Ability to operate Overhead Crane

• Knowledge of cutting tools for needs and speeds
