JOB TITLE: CNC Machine Cleaning Technician
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented CNC Machine Cleaning Technician to join our operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and functionality of our machinery, which is crucial for maintaining optimal production efficiency. Your work will play a vital role in supporting our commitment to quality and safety standards as well as maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a cleaning or maintenance role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Familiarity with cleaning agents and safety protocols.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Basic mechanical abilities.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Experience with industrial machinery and understanding of basic mechanical concepts.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience working around CNC machines and in a machine shop environment.
  • Knowledge of cleaning tools and equipment.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills to identify and report machinery issues.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

CORE DUTIES

  • Perform routine cleaning of machinery and around machines to prevent breakdowns and ensure efficient operation.
  • Inspect and identify any potential issues with equipment that may require immediate attention.
  • Utilize appropriate cleaning agents and techniques to remove dirt, grease, and other contaminants from equipment.
  • Conduct basic general machine maintenance per machine manufacturer criteria to include but not limited to: lubrication, filter changes/cleaning, wear inspection, loose or leaking connections, cleaning/changing coolant filters, changing out coolant tanks.
  • Maintain accurate records of cleaning/basic machine maintenance activities and equipment status to support operational transparency.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and standards while handling cleaning materials and machinery.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to address equipment issues and improve cleaning processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

HOURS

  • 1st shift position
  • Monday through Thursday, 4:45 a.m. - 3:15 p.m.
  • Friday - overtime as needed

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Candidates that accept an offer of employment will be required to pass a background and drug screen. Candidates must also meet ATF requirements for firearm possession.
