We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Set-Up Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to fabricate parts and components with precision.

Duties:

  • Set-up, verify, and operate 3rd and 4th axis CNC mills to machine complex parts to customer requirements.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to understand product specifications
  • Monitor machine operations to detect any problems
  • Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines
Qualifications
  • Machining & Set-up: 5 years (Required)
  • Sound knowledge of feeds, speeds, and material removal process.
  • Familiar with CNC programming codes.
  • Must be familiar with cutting tool feeds and speeds.
  • Ability to set up parts independently.
  • Understanding of true position tolerance and Cartesian coordinate systems.
  • Must be able to follow written instructions.
  • Experience working to close tolerances in a high-volume environment.
  • Proficiency reading complicated blueprints.

We have 2nd and 3rd shift positions with a salary range of $30-$40 per hour based on experience.
