The Electrification & Automation (EA) Business Unit offers the full range of energy distribution systems and solutions for all markets and through all sales channels. We provide reliable power distribution grids of today while investing in our Future Grids portfolio to create the power distribution grid of the future.

We are hiring for multiple manufacturing roles supporting our Wendell facility, including CNC Copper Machine Operators, Brake Press Machine Operators, and Komax Machine Operators.

Candidates who apply will be considered across these areas based on skills, experience, and business needs, and will be hired into one primary role following the interview and selection process.

Shift Hours:

  • 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM- 11:30 PM
  • 3rd Shift:11:00PM - 7:30 AM

Hourly Rate: $22.46 + $1.50 Shift Differential

Please Note:This position will begin with training on 1st shift, with a transition to 2nd or 3rd shift following the training period, as determined by the manager.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment performing mechanical assembly, machine operation, or similar hands‑on work
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documentation
  • Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and measuring devices
  • Ability to work standing for the duration of a shift and perform physical tasks including reaching, grasping, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience operating Brake Press machines, ERHT Machines or Komax wire processing equipment
  • Experience with CNC equipment, SAP, or lean manufacturing environments
  • Experience with wiring, cable assembly, or mechanical assembly
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

You'll make an impact by:

  • Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment such as press brake machines, ERHT Machines and Komax wire processing machines to produce high‑quality parts and assemblies
  • Read and follow BOMs, layouts, and technical drawings as needed.
  • Read and interpret 2D/3D blueprints, schematics, layouts, and technical documentation
  • Use hand tools, power tools (pneumatic and battery‑operated), torque wrenches, and measuring devices accurately and safely
  • Inspect finished products for quality, record production data, and complete required documentation using computer systems
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas while following all Environmental, Health, and Safety requirements
  • Support continuous improvement efforts and perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
