CNC Swiss Machinist

Location: Madison Heights, VA (Onsite)
Type: FullTime, All Shifts
Pay: $21.0030.00/hr

Quality Archery Designs (QAD) has been manufacturing innovative and high-quality archery accessories in Madison Heights, VA since 1992. QAD is searching for full time CNC Swiss Machinists to join our growing team. At QAD, machinists are the go-to persons for setups, programming, and overall machine improvements. They ensure that the machines are running at their maximum capacity so that top quality parts are produced.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and guidance to CNC operators as needed
  • Perform setups and changeovers
  • Troubleshoot machine issues
  • Perform scheduled maintenance plans for all machines
  • Keep work areas safe, productive, and clean
  • Assist in maintaining team efficiency

Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience of CNC machine set ups and/or programming required
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret mechanical blueprints
  • Proficient in using digital calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, and other measurement tools.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 70 lbs. independently required
  • Excellent problem solving ability
  • Dedicated work ethic with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
  • Experience with FANUC controls is a plus
  • Knowledge of G-code and M-code programming required

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday
  • First, second, or third shift opportunities with shift pay differentials
  • Weekends and holidays as needed
  • Overtime available
