As a CNA Psychiatric, your daily responsibilities often include assisting patients with personal care needs, observing and documenting changes in behavior, supporting patients during emotional or behavioral crises, and maintaining a safe environment. You may also help with group activities, reinforce therapeutic interventions set by the clinical team, and work closely with nurses and mental health professionals to support patient care plans. This role can be both challenging and rewarding, as you play a key part in the recovery and well-being of individuals with mental health conditions. Collaboration and communication with colleagues are essential for delivering consistent, compassionate care in a psychiatric setting.
