Job description

Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Contract (13 Weeks)

Location: Portland, Oregon 97216
Pay Rate: $801 – $913
Schedule: Day Shift, 36 hours/week (12-hour shifts)


Position Summary & Responsibilities
  • Provides direct patient care under RN supervision

  • Assists with ADLs: bathing, feeding, dressing, hygiene, mobility, elimination

  • Takes and records vital signs (BP, pulse, etc.) and reports changes to RN

  • Performs approved clinical support tasks per Oregon CNA scope (e.g., fingersticks, specimen collection, oxygen support adjustments, SCDs, CPM assistance, drainage/output measurement, post-mortem care)

  • Supports patient safety, comfort, and restorative care needs

  • Assists with basic clerical/unit support tasks as needed

  • Maintains workflow efficiency and prioritizes assigned duties

  • May float to other units based on staffing needs

  • Works in telemetry and dialysis unit environment (47-bed unit)

  • Collaborates with interdisciplinary support teams (pharmacy, phlebotomy, transport, etc.)


Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED preferred

  • Active Oregon CNA certification required

  • Current BLS certification (AHA or equivalent) required

  • Prior CNA or inpatient hospital experience preferred
