Certified Medication Technician (CMT)

Magnolia Manor Assisted Living Facility at Northern Neck Senior Care Community is now hiring a Certified Medication Technician (CMT)!

Pay rates: $18-$19 based on experience

Health/Dental/Vision Insurance for FT

Certified Medication Technician (CMT) Requirements:

  • Active Medication Aide Certification in Virginia
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

Certified Medication Technician (CMT) Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications and treatments within the standards of practice as per certification permissions and state regulations.
  • Prepare and administer routine and PRN medications to patients as prescribed by the physician and document administration per company policies
  • Maintains medication supply, cleans and restocks medicine carts and medicine room.
  • Notifies the pharmacy of new medication orders and refills.
  • Performs accurate vital sign monitoring when indicated by drug therapy.
  • Maintains current knowledge of medications and investigates unknown medications before administration.
