Job description

Index Analytics, LLC, is a rapidly growing, Baltimore-based small business providing health-related consulting services to the federal government. We are seeking a Task Lead - O&M Extracts to oversee and manage the daily O&M and Extracts activities for the task order. The incumbent shall work with CMS and team to coordinate the activities of multiple O&M, Development, and Extracts staff, developers and analysts to ensure the on-time delivery of each defined development effort and defined O&M effort. This role shall also act as a quality reviewer of all final work products to ensure high-quality, client-ready deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day Operations & Maintenance (O&M), and extract processing activities across the task order.
  • Coordinate technical staff, developers, analysts, and support teams to ensure the successful execution of operational and development activities.
  • Oversee extract processing, monitoring, validation, troubleshooting, and delivery across multiple environments.
  • Manage production support, enhancement activities, defect resolution, and operational issue tracking.
  • Support release management, testing coordination, code deployments, and change management activities.
  • Review final work products, deliverables, documentation, and technical outputs to ensure quality, accuracy, and client readiness.
  • Coordinate with CMS stakeholders, business users, infrastructure teams, and vendors to support operational priorities and development activities.
  • Ensure compliance with CMS security, privacy, and operational standards including HIPAA, FISMA, and CMS policies.
  • Provide operational status reporting, risk identification, mitigation planning, and performance metrics to leadership.
  • Support DevSecOps processes including GitHub version control, code reviews, and controlled production promotions.
  • Assist with modernization, cloud migration, and system enhancement initiatives involving AWS, Snowflake, and related technologies.

Qualifications

  • U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the United States and able to demonstrate physical residency in the U.S. for at least three (3) of the past five (5) years.
  • Bachelor’s degree with six (6) or more years of relevant experience.
  • Experience leading O&M, development, and extract processing teams supporting enterprise systems and data environments.
  • Strong understanding of ETL workflows, batch operations, extract processing, and data integration activities.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and enterprise data platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks.
  • Knowledge of Informatica, SAS, SQL, Python, GitHub, ServiceNow, and scheduling/automation tools.
  • Strong leadership, coordination, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Experience working in healthcare or federal government environments preferred.
  • Familiarity with CMS operational, security, and DevSecOps standards preferred.
