As part of our exciting growth, we are currently searching for a Senior Manager, Maintenance Program.

The Senior Manager, Maintenance Program is the enterprise owner of Aligned's maintenance strategy, governance, cost optimization, and execution consistency across all data center markets. This role establishes and enforces a standardized, scalable maintenance framework that improves PM and CM quality, strengthens QA/QC rigor, ensures CMMS data integrity, and delivers measurable OpEx reductions.

This position provides direct leadership to Regional Maintenance Program Mangers and serves as the single accountable authority for maintenance standards, vendor alignment, and program performance, while partnering with Construction, Platform Delivery, Risk & Reliability, and Operations to ensure long-term asset reliability and growth readiness.

This role will be based hybrid out of one of our designated Aligned Data Centers locations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

As Senior Manager - Maintenance Program, you will:

National Maintenance Strategy & Governance

  • Own and maintain the companywide maintenance strategy, governance model, standards, and policies.
  • Develop, publish, and maintain standardized SOWs, PM templates, task lists, and frequencies across all sites.
  • Drive alignment with industry best practices, OEM guidance, and internal Runbook expectations.
  • Govern CMMS standards, naming conventions, documentation requirements, and national data quality expectations.

Vendor & Contract Management

  • Oversee all national maintenance vendor contracts and lead rate card standardization efforts.
  • Manage vendor consolidation strategy to reduce OpEx, unify scope baselines, and eliminate variability between markets.
  • Lead contract negotiations, SOW validation, and national-level QBR/YBR processes.
  • Ensure vendor compliance with PM execution, documentation, QA/QC, and safety standards.

Quality Assurance / Quality Control

  • Establish national QA/QC expectations for PMs, corrective maintenance, and vendor deliverables.
  • Implement audit frameworks for completion quality, documentation integrity, and PM accuracy.
  • Coordinate with Regional MPMs to ensure consistent implementation of corrective actions and risk mitigation measures.

Program Analytics, Dashboards & Reporting

  • Own maintenance program analytics, including compliance dashboards, forecasting models, cost benchmarks, and performance trends.
  • Establish metrics and KPIs for PM completion, missed PMs, CM accuracy, vendor performance, QA/QC, and risk indicators.
  • Present maintenance performance insights to senior leadership.

Construction & New Site Readiness

  • Partner with Platform Delivery, Commissioning, and Engineering during construction phases to ensure maintenance readiness.
  • Define turnover requirements, initial PM buildouts, spare parts lists, and vendor onboarding sequencing.

Leadership & Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Provide direct guidance and oversight to Regional Maintenance Program Managers.
  • Ensure regional execution aligns with national standards and enterprise reliability expectations.
  • Partner with Risk & Reliability, Site Operations, Engineering, and Training to align maintenance program performance with broader operational goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Operations, or related field preferred.
  • 8-12 years of experience in mission-critical maintenance leadership (data center strongly preferred).
  • Strong background in MEP systems, facility maintenance programs, vendor governance, and QA/QC.
  • Experience building standardized maintenance programs across multi-site portfolios.
  • Skilled in CMMS administration, analytics, cost modeling, and trend analysis.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and program management skills.
