Compensation

Salary Range: $36.47 - $50.77 per hour

The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.

Responsibilities

Position Overview:

Responsible for providing clinical nutrition services, including nutrition assessment, modified diet formulation, self-management training and nutrition intervention for patients/residents. Ensures patient satisfaction, quality care, regulatory agency compliance, and good public relations are achieved through the safe and efficient use of resources.

Qualifications

Required:

    Bachelor's Degree with completion of Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD)
  • Completion of ACEND- accredited supervised practical experience program
  • Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)

Preferred:

  • Master's Degree of Science in Nutrition
  • One (1) year experience in clinical nutrition in acute care hospital and skilled nursing facility
  • Specialization in clinical nutrition - e.g., Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE), or Nutrition Support Specialist (CNSC)
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
