Job Overview
We are currently looking for a Product Specialist (CMF) to join our team in Holland, MI.
As a Product Specialist (CMF) you will:
Support the execution of CMF product line management strategies for assigned product lines or categories, working cross-functionally to ensure color, material, and finish offerings are market-relevant, brand-aligned, manufacturable at scale, and financially viable. Applies strong understanding of design trends, customer needs, supplier capabilities, and competitive landscapes to inform CMF decisions, drive adoption, reduce complexity, and contribute to revenue and margin objectives.
Essential Functions
  • Contribute to CMF planning activities, supporting the development and maintenance of CMF roadmaps including color palettes, material families, finishes, launches, transitions, and retirements aligned with product and brand direction.
  • Serve as a CMF subject matter expert, providing guidance on colors, materials, finishes, and surface strategies to internal teams and external partners to support product decisions and presentations.
  • Conduct market analysis by monitoring CMF trends, competitive offerings, customer expectations, and emerging materials or finishes to inform portfolio recommendations and differentiation opportunities.
  • Support CMF pricing and value strategies by contributing analysis and recommendations that balance perceived value, cost, margin, and competitive positioning.
  • Manage assigned CMF portfolios, including option architecture, pricing inputs, cost targets, complexity considerations, forecasting support, and performance tracking for new and existing offerings.
  • Actively participate in cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, sales, finance, marketing communications, and the business resource center to ensure CMF offerings meet aesthetic intent, technical requirements, and operational constraints.
  • Support CMF product launches and updates by preparing and coordinating materials for product introductions, palette expansions, and transitions, including documentation, training content, and communications.
  • Develop or support creation of marketing collateral, presentations, and other materials that communicate product or CMF information for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation.
  • Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
  • Performs other duties within scope as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Design, Materials Science, Interior Design, or similar.
  • 2 years experience in product line management or similar.
  • Applicants must be able to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance.
  • Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for this position.
  • Education Equivalency: Associate's Degree plus 2 years related experience OR 4 years related experience if no post-secondary education
  • Military Equivalency at www.mynextmove.org/vets/find/military

Preferred Qualifications
  • 5 year experience in product line management or similar preferred
  • Experience with hard surfaces (laminate, wood, and paint).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office suite
  • Experience using SAP or similar
  • Experience using a Data management software
  • Experience using Project management tools
  • Strong project management skills
